Remember this cowboy invitation I designed a while back? Well, the little cowboy himself arrived, and I was very excited to capture this little two-week-old guy a few days ago. Thanks Benge family for the privilege of this session with your little one!
Aren’t the booties and hat that Mama knitted for him just sweet?
Mama knitted this adorable green and brown blanket for him too!
Grandpa Benge made this adorable rocking horse and Grandma Benge painted it. Baby Benge is certainly surrounded by talented family members!
Welcome to the world, little cowboy!
Sweet little Sarah was a blast to work with! Despite the sun, the day we met for our session was cold, but Sarah was a champ! Smiling and posing for the camera, she made the most adorable faces. What a happy girl!
And those long eye lashes!
Got to love the cute owl hat and pink doggie!
Since Sam—battling rush hour traffic and feeling under the weather—was barely able to make it for the last of the lingering light at our first shoot, the Cardarella family and I met for a few more family shots. I could photograph this family all day, they’re so natural in front of the camera!
And I couldn’t help but take a few shots in the pile of leaves.
When I was first learning to shoot sun flare last fall, this was one of my first successful attempts. It was challenging, especially considering it was a self-portrait!
This week’s entry for the I ♥ Faces photo challenge!
In the spring I designed a logo for Sovereign Grace Church. The logo is being used as part of this year’s vision for the church to grow in evangelism and sowing into the lives of children. It’s also being used as a graphic for an upcoming sermon series. It was a great experience to create this logo!
First, our session was rained out. Then work schedules were changed unexpectedly, almost making it impossible to get the shoot in this week. But one persistent mama was determined to make it work. So, on a beautiful October evening we met for the shoot, Noah’s dad battling traffic to make it just in time for the last of the evening light. Noah was the perfect little model!
Enjoy your preview! I had a hard time narrowing down what pictures to post!
